Children benefit enormously when they learn the correct techniques right from the start. This helps them feel secure when they take their first “alpine steps” on the slopes. We offer specialized children’s ski lessons starting at age 3. Our highly professional ski instructors make sure the kids have lots of fun. The ski area Rofan in Maurach is ideal for children and beginners. The slopes are wide and not too steep. It’s easy to find your way around. There is a fantastic children’s area. And snow conditions are perfect.
Alpine skiers and snowboarders always meet 15 minutes before their lessons start at our meeting point by the large penguin at the top station of the Rofan cable car . Cross-country skiers meet directly at our shop at the base station . On Sundays and Mondays, our ski instructors assign all the groups to their instructors. Our course hours are 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and for children from 7 to 12 also 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Please check in at the ski school office at Rofan Basecamp , directly at the base station of the Rofan cable car, the day before. Pick up your course pass before 5:00 pm or one hour before your lesson starts. If you have made an online reservation, please come to our office to exchange it for a course pass. We kindly ask you to pay cash directly at the ski school. If fewer than 3 people have signed up for your class, your group may join another group. Alternatively, we will shorten the time of the lesson a bit. You will not have any disadvantages from any potential adjustments. Please note that there may be some last-minute changes if the weather is bad or if the lifts cannot operate.
